Daily Skyward Wellness Check for ALL Learners
REMINDER: Skyward Wellness Self-Screenings for Parents/Guardians for Distance & In Person Learning Students
Per RIDOH guidelines, we (parents/guardians for all in person and distance students) will all be expected to self-screen and complete a wellness check form each day. Through our Skyward portal, there is a convenient way to complete this form and submit the information each day.
See Information Linked Below for the Skyward Parent/Guardian (Student) Wellness Form Information
Parents, students and staff are asked to please download the Skyward application from either Apple or Google Play (this can also be done on your desktop by logging into Skyward). Please log into the app as you would the Skyward parent portal. Once logged in, the App brings you to a Wellness Screening. Please complete the Skyward Wellness Screening every day for your child before they start their school day. (RIDE Reentry Guidelines) If you are experiencing trouble logging into your Skyward account, please email our data manager assistant Lisa Villella at lisa.villella@npsd.k12.ri.us
Daily self-attestation is required for all students entering buses and school buildings, as well as distance learners, on a daily basis. THANK YOU!!
Parents will also need to complete the Parent/Guardian Acknowledgement of Daily COVID-19 Screening for Students. Here is the Parent/Guardian Acknowledgement of Daily COVID-19 Screening for Students:
Distance Learners: Please sign and scan this to our secretary brenda.corcelli@npsd.k12.ri.us or you may sign a paper copy at Gresytone.
In Person Learners: A copy was sent home yesterday.

Daily Student Check-in..Zones of Regulation
The North Providence teachers and support staff have been working hard to put together resources that will support your child’s transition to school this year. Our goal is to promote students’ academic, social and emotional learning. Each morning, the students will log onto their devices and complete a simple checklist that will teach them to name their feelings. It is important for students to understand how their feelings affect their behaviors and their readiness to learn. Students will learn skills of identifying their emotions and how to manage those emotions in order to be successful in the classroom. There is no feeling that is “bad” or “naughty”. We all experience a range of emotions and it is important for us to be able to know what to do with these feelings in order to have a productive day. Please see the attached for more information!

A Message from Our Music Teacher
To All Greystone Families,
Throughout the month of December all music classes will be continuing their studies of music around the world. The students will be learning seasonal and holiday music from many cultures, including the United States, England, Germany and Spain. Some songs celebrate Christmas, but are not religious songs. Many classes will have the opportunity to sing and play songs with other grades during their music class. We are looking forward to hearing festive music all month long. We hope your child/children will share these songs with you.
